Well my lowers came the wrong color and with hardware missing, but when I finally got a new hardware kit I decided to put them on anyway and see how they worked. The French instructions were not helpful to say the least. After bolting them almost completely on, I found out the brackets needed to be switched. It surprised me that the left side needed the long bracket plus the plastic spacer, while the right side needed just the shorter bracket. Too bad they didn't just make a bracket the right length. I had a problem with one clip, even though I had started the bolts in them before assembly, one bolt bound up. It started to thread easily but ended up rotating the clip and twisting it out of shape. Fortunately I had extra clips from the first hardware package. I advise you to run the bolts all the way through each clip holding the clip with pliers, before trying to mount them on the bike.
