Easy Install: No matter what make of heated grips you buy, this Kit allows you to install direct to your battery and have relay switching. This way you'll never forget to turn the grips off and flatten your bike's battery. See Installation page here.

Fuse Size: I give you the option of different size fuses. This Kit's wiring is good up to 15A. I recommend a 5A fuse for most heated grips. See your grips' makers recommendation for fuse size.

Other Uses:  this Kit can be used for many types of accessories which you want relay switched. You can hookup a socket, GPS, radio, etc.

Note: An Accessory Single Relay Kit will also work for heated grips which need longer leads. Just order it with the Posi-Locks option and the length of leads you need.

CanBUS Diode in Switching Lead Option - this option can be added to this Kit. A diode is soldered into the relay switching lead near the relay. This prevent power from going back to the bike, therefore protecting the CanBUS system. You can connect the switching lead to either the front parking light or the blue/green wire on the diagnostic connector.

FREE - Switching Lead Posi-Tap Choice: The Kits come by default with the PTA1416 which will fit most bikes but it's nice to have the right size. I now give you a choice of Posi-Tap to suit different wire sizes. Some bikes, especially CanBUS bikes have very small wires. The parking light wire definitely needs a PTA2024 it's so small. There is no charge for this option but of course you must be buying a Relay Kit above. See the Posi Products Page for info about Posi-Taps and their sizes. Buy a few sizes at the above link and make sure you have one that fits just right.
