Posi-Locks: Like you, I was sceptical at first of the ability of these fasteners to join wires in a permanent and positive fashion. I am now convinced of the excellent wire connecting qualities of these fine products. There is no substitute for excellent electrical connections, and the Posi Products do that better than any other type of connectors for joining wires together. I use a pair of pliers to fully tighten up the larger connectors. The smaller connectors only need to be hand tight.
Posi-Locks are reusable and are easy to check your connection. No special tools are needed for installation. Most problems with DIY wiring are from poor connections that weaken over time and cause all kinds of grief to the rider later on down the road. Many cheaper types of crimped and plugged together connectors are a nightmare waiting to happen. Posi-Locks solve these problems easily.
