Modular Socket Kit Components
You can build a complete Socket installation by ordering only the components you need here. These components are mostly interchangeable and modular. The male T-Connector is used to plug into any of the sockets listed below.
Some Kits like the Cable Socket and Paneltop Socket Kits are complete Kits, as these sockets are not modular.
 Leads - start with the wiring needed from power source to socket, either fused or unfused.
What you see here on the right is the hidden advantage to ordering your socket leads from me. You can see the quality factory crimping you get on all of my Kits. I use very expensive Pressmaster crimpers to get results like this on every crimp.
You can do it yourself but you can't get crimps like these. I know, because I've tried all brands of cheaper crimpers and they just don't do a good job.
You can pinch and solder etc., but you could have wire breakage or other problems later on.
Sockets really do need the T-Connector for a good connection without polarity problems.
Fused Leads - these leads with fuseholder can be ordered in any length. They come with 14 AWG wire, VOX high temperature sheathing, two 15A fuses, fuseholder, cable ties, and a male T-Connector using a pair of the terminals shown above.

Kits can be ordered any custom length. Just order the next longest Kit and specify the exact length needed in the Paypal comments.

Unfused Leads - these leads without fuseholder can be ordered in any length. They come with 14 AWG wire, VOX high temperature sheathing and a male T-Connector attached. They are designed for use with a fusebox. As well, you can order factory quality crimped terminals attached to these leads for your fusebox, for a small extra charge.

The sheathing can be cut back and the leads trimmed to length. Order long enough leads so you can trim the leads to fit.

Sockets - chose the type of socket you want, according to the plug used and the space available behind your socket mount location. Further down you will also find Socket Mount Brackets.
Regular Powerlet (BMW type) Socket - these are the best quality sockets available and provide a secure and waterproof connection that's perfect for motorcycle use. See the Powerlet Pages for plugs and adaptors which will plug into these sockets. You will need about 3"(76mm) of clearance for this socket with a male T-Connector and straight rubber boot attached. The male T-Connector makes an easy wire connection to this socket while ensuring proper polarity. The straight rubber boot keeps out dirt and moisture.
Low Profile Powerlet Socket - this is a regular Powerlet Socket with soldered on 6"(15cm) leads, a female T-Connector, and a right angle rubber boot. This socket is for where you don't have enough clearance behind a panel for a male T-Connector and Rubber Boot. You will need at least 1 1/2"(39mm) of clearance for this low profile socket. Order a PMI-008 thick rubber spacer for maximum rear clearance.

Cigar Socket - this is a high quality Cigar Socket with 6"(15cm) leads, and a female T-Connector. You will need at least 1 1/2"(39mm) of clearance for this low profile socket. Comes with tethered rubber cap, rubber washer, and large plastic jam nut. Not useable for actual cigar lighters.

Fairing Pocket Adaptors
If you already have a socket on your fairing these adaptors will allow you to put a Cigar Socket or an SAE Plug in your fairing pocket by simply plugging in a Fairing Pocket Adaptor and a Second Socket Wiring Kit above. Or install on individual Socket Leads direct to a fuse panel.
The T-Connector coupler is left unplugged to allow easy wire insertion in a small hole in the fairing pocket. Plug the terminals into the Coupler after running the wires.
I also sell Grommets here, if you'd like to have a grommet to fill any hole you drill for wiring.
