This shrink tube is unlike anything you have ever used or seen. It's incredible! Sumitube W3B2 totally waterproofs your connector or terminal!

Sumitube W3B2 has an inner layer of clear glue that melts and completely encapsulated the terminal or connection. Not only does Sumitube W3B2 completely waterproof your connection, but it provides the ultimate wire strain relief.

Sumitube W3B2 shrinks 3 to 1 so you can cover a large terminal and still tightly wrap a thin wire in the same connection. Here below are some finished samples from my own production.

The 3/16" size will cover a small butt connector or terminal shank.

The 1/4" size will cover a female spade or medium butt connector.

The 3/8" size will cover a female spade or large butt connector.

Notice that this type of terminal leaves the insulation end open to moisture and without any real strain relief.

Here you can see now nicely the Sumitube W3B2 shrinks around the terminal and the wire.

This is an excellent application for high quality shrink tube. Most DIYers use this type of terminal but they quickly corrode and the wire tends to break due to the lack of strain relief.

You can see here where the glue has flowed at each end. This terminal is now well protected from corrosion and has an excellent wire strain relief on it.

This particular terminal is a cheap type found in most auto parts stores. I now carry Nichifu insulated terminals which are superior to all others I have found.

Use a good crimper for best results. Never pinch this type of terminal with pliers or a cheap crimper.
