This cable allows you to take a switched output from the rear tail/license plate light feed. Useful for triggering switched outputs on the PC-8 or other fuse boxes. It could also be used for low power accessories. We recommend under 3A loads on this splitter ( due to tail light/license plate light already drawing current on this circuit ).

We will add other assemblies shortly. You can in the mean time email us, if you want a PC-8R, PC-8E, PC-4E or other kit. You can also email us if you want a specific cable and we might be able to make it for you.

Installation Tips

This is a plug and play kit, designed for the bike with the help of an awesome customer. You basically just connect to battery and the switching power trigger ( left side of tank close to the frame – red 2 pin connector ). Loosely tie the kit in place, once position is decided. Lifting the tank or tank removal can make installation easier, but is not totally necessary.

SAFETY
When disconnecting battery leads, always disconnect the ground first. When connecting to the battery, always connect the positive first.
Never connect anything, when the ignition is turned on and the battery is connected. Install all fuses last. Never tie wiring so tightly that it stresses electrical connections. Wires should be held in place loosely, so they can absorb vibration and not put stress on crimps.
