This kit was developed for the new Tenere 700. This kit makes installation easy, mounting everything under the seat. A connector on the kit allows easy plug into the bike’s aux light connector for switching. A splitter is available separately ( option ), to allow the stock aux lights to also plug into the Aux connection. For this kit to work, the battery connections and aux ( switched ) power connection must be made. The kit is shipped with all fuses removed, so that you can safely connect and then install the fuses required. There are no wires to cut and not taps to attach. This is a plug and play kit.

The Hozan P-706 does a pro job on these types, go here to buy. This is a great tool for a home shop, most connectors on modern bikes are this type.

You don’t need a crimper to install these. You can pinch and solder if you know how to solder. I have a page about crimping and soldering here.

CS Sealed  Leads and Extensions

Various pre-finished leads of the highest quality are available for running your circuit wires from the CS Kit under the seat to up front to power a socket, SAE, aux lights, or other devices. Leads are available for a variety of power socket connections to plug in directly. Installation:

The kit is designed to be mounted under the riders seat. When shipped all fuses are removed, so that you can install
safely. Once your installation is complete, install the main fuses ( two fuse holders near the relay ). Then switch on the bike and check that you hear a click from the relay. If there is no relay click, then the Aux light connection, must not be made. Please check that connection and that that the battery connection is correctly made.
 

1. Decide where you want the kit to fit ( placement under the riders seat ).
2. Route the switching lead forward to the Aux light connector at the front right of the bike ( usually taped to other wires just behind the front of the fuel tank ). It is a 3 Pin Sumitomo connector ( usually white ) and female. From the factory, the connector has a male connector with blanking plugs installed ( unless Aux Lights were ordered as an option ). Note: If you have Aux light fitted or another connection to the Aux Lights connector, you would need to purchase a separate "Aux Light Splitter" cable.
3. Connect the 4CS battery connections or if you have the PowerLink option, connect the Male and Female PowerLink connectors and then connect to the battery.
4. Cable tie all your cables neatly and avoid stressing connections by tieing cable too tight.
5. The two fuse holders closest to the battery ( between the relay and the battery connection ) are the Main switched and Un-switched/direct fuse holders.
6. Install the main switched power fuses. The black is the switched power. Remove the fuse holder cap and install a 20A fuse and the spare fuse and reinstall the fuse holder cap ).
7. The white fuse holder is un-switched/direct so install a 15A fuse and a spare fuse and reinstall the fuse holder cap.
8. Double check all your connections.
9. Turn the ignition on and listen for the relay click. You may need to do this a few times, if you miss the click sound.
10. Once you have verified that the relay is switching, you can now proceed to connect your accessories to the 4CS.
11. Note that only one output has a red wire connected to it. This output is the direct output.
12. Note you can match which of the three grouped fuse holder ( switched output fuses ) connects to which output, by the color of the wires
    attached.
