Brass Terminals – 25% US Tariff On The Whole Order.

Sadly this does happen for orders that have more than a few bags of brass ring terminals. We have not had this happen for
other terminals, such as connector terminals.

The current US tariff on orders with brass in them is 25%. Even if only a small portion of the order is brass terminals,
customs is charging 25% on the whole order PLUS what ever tariff they apply to the others items. We’ve received, from Fedex,
revised Tariff bills totaling up to 60% of the value of orders when we’ve only charged the customer 10%. There is no real method
to dispute these. They have a form, but even when you prove them wrong, they go with their own ruling, saying they will terminate
your account if you do not pay up. The current system is a bit wild west in what is charged. support in Japan is non existent. They
just keep saying, read the website.
