SAE to M6 Ring Terminals – [Battery Terminals]. For motorcycles. Rated at 15A Max. Tin plated brass ring terminals to SAE connector. Wire is 16AWG. Comes with 20A fuse ( fuse is to protect the SAE to battery connection ). Tinned copper wire with PVC insulation. This insulation is not a high temp type so if running close to engines or heat sources, its better to buy some high temp sleeving. Fuse is ATO type full size. SAE connector has removable cap to keep clean when not in use. At SAE connection, the positive is enclosed ( not exposed ). Check your connection, and if it does not match, you may need a polarity reverse adapter.
SAE connections are not standard. Some cables have the positive exposed and some do not. It is up to the customer to ensure you buy the correct type. Typically for motorcycles, ATV’s etc you want any SAE that is connected to the battery to have the positive enclosed, to avoid shorts. Chargers should have the positive exposed as they have internal current limiting.
