The VStrom does not come with factory headlight relays and so a lot of current flows through the handlebar switches and connectors. This causes early meltdown with loss of headlights. This Kit avoids that problem. Do not wait until your switch burns out or a connector melts, install this Kit even on a new VStrom.
- Choice of H4 Coupler or a Sealed Posilock option for relay triggering.
- Battery Connection option – has a fuseholder and terminals to connect directly to your battery.
- Fusepanel Connection option – main lead wires are longer and sheathed to 6 in (15 cm) from ends (for aux fusepanels like the PC-8).
- The 3CS-HD Connection option – has a main lead connector to plug into my 3 Circuit Solution HD (NOT for 3CS Sealed).
Headlight Kits & Cables
H4 Dual Headlight Relay Kit – [In Fairing]
Bypasses the OEM harness to reduce current through the OEM light the switch and connections. This will increase voltage at the bulb and often leads to a bright headlight. Improve reliability of the headlight circuit. However, if you have a faulty switch or burnt out connector, then those would also need to be addressed. Designed for the Suzuki V-Strom.
H4 Dual Headlight Relay Kit with Low Beam Cut
This kit allows the connection of a handle bar switch, to switch off both low beam lights. Useful off road or when you need to switch off your headlight ( low battery on startup or such ). Removes load from the OEM switch & wiring harness.
H4 Dual Headlight Relay Kit with One Headlight Cut
This kit will cut on single headlight in a dual setup. You will need a DPST switch. You can decide with headlight is cut, but routing the harness from the left side or the right. The shorter lead is the one what is cut.
H4 Hi Or Lo Beam Cut Adapter
Cuts one beam of one H4 headlight. Select Lo or Hi cut from the option menu. A switch is required available here ( you will need a SPST switch ).Plug inline with one of the bikes headlights. Can work on any motorcycle with H4 headlights. No modification to your wiring.
H4 Low or High Beam Cut Adapter with Bar-switch
Similar to the H4 Hi or Lo Beam Cut Adapter, but includes a bar mount switch. Cuts one beam when the switch is ON. Plugs inline with one H4 headlight bulb. No modification to the bike wiring.
H4 Lo And Hi Headlight Cut Adaptor – [Single Bulb]
One H4 bulb cut kit. Allows you to cut one headlight on dual headlight motorcycles. A DPDT switch is required.
