Triumph Street Triple 675 Rectifier Upgrades. These bracket options are for mounting an SH847 or FH020AA rectifier in the front left side of the engine, under the radiator. This gets the rectifier in the air flow. The original mount position behind the engine has very little air flow plus the heat from the engine. So the OEM rectifier location causes the rectifier to run hotter than normal. Relocating it to the front of the bike eliminates this issue and improves reliability.
Replacing the OEM rectifier with an SH847 ( same connection but physically bigger ) has to major benefits. The SH847 is a series rectifier, that is it is more like a tap that automatically turns on and off as power is required. The OEM rectifier puts 100% load on the stator all the time, and shorts unwanted power to ground, creating a lot of heat. So Series rectifier are more efficient and run cooler.
