Description

This Kit is for medium power needs up to 35A total current on the Kit.

This Kit has two main fuseholders. The black is for the switched circuits which also each have a separate fuseholder, the main white fuseholder is for the unswitched circuit. You can charge the battery through the unswitched circuit which is always hot. The switched circuits are switched by the relay to be on only when the bike is on.

This Kit uses Sumitomo MT sealed .090 connectors that are easy to work with if crimping or soldering. See here for a crimper for these that will do a professional job on these. The Hozan P-706 is my recommended crimper for sealed types.

Three switched outputs are provided, controlled by a 20A relay and a main fuseholder of 20A max. Switched outputs are max 12A each. These switched outputs are great for most of your accessories, cellphone, GPS etc, even heated clothing can be powered.

One unswitched output is provided direct from battery using its own fuseholder, with max capacity of 15A. The bike battery can be charged with this circuit. This higher power circuit can also power an air compressor or power heated clothing. Or you can use this circuit for a GPS which will stay on and powered when you shut off the bike.

The relay is a very compact 20A unit with extra protection shrunk over it. Mating connectors and fuses are included. Also, an extra terminal and seal is included, as well as cable ties. Extra connectors and parts are available on the Accessories Page. Two Positaps are included for the relay switching wire and ground.

Leads, extensions, and splitters to plug into the 3CS Sealed are now available on the Accessories Page.

Kit with Battery Connections (also available to hookup to our Powerlink battery leads)

Installation Note:

This kit uses the accessory port at the front right of the bike ( near the radiator cap ). If you are already using that port for heated grips or such, you would need to purchase the splitter cable. The kit was designed so that the PC-8 & Relay sit under the seat. The battery cables run along the right side of the bike to the battery and the switched input lead runs under the tank to the OEM accessory port ( used for heated grips ) near the radiator cap.
