Description

This is a super compact accessory fuse box for the Kawasaki Z1000SX. It provides
three switched and one battery direct output. All outputs are rated at 15A. You can
use SC splitter cables to increase the number of outputs provided total current per
output is 15A or less.

The total power handling is 30A for the kit, with 20A max on switched and 15A on battery direct
( so any combination that keeps total current at 30A or less ).

This kit uses the tail light connection for switched input.

For fuse values, estimate the current on a connection, multiply by 1.3 and select that value or the
next highest value. Fuses run hot when near their trip current, so better to over spec, which results
in cooler operation while still protecting the wiring. Fuses holder can hold 1 spare fuse each.

Why do you need this?
For convenience – allows you to safely and reliable add electrical accessories to your bike.
For reliability –  having too many wires on battery terminals leads to all sorts of issues aside from looking messy.
Issues such as battery terminals coming loose, to poor connections and in worst cases burnt wires due to no fuses.
For simplicity –  knowing what connection is connected where, make dealing with any faults so much easier.
