Description

The SH847 is a series type rectifier that puts less load on your stator for the same power to the bike. It is much more efficient than the OEM rectifier  and is a solid upgrade to the charging system. All versions of motorcycle lithium batteries are designed to work with 14.4v as are lead acid motorcycle batteries, so you can use any battery type with these rectifiers. This kit is designed for those who want to keep the stock rectifier connectors and install the SH847 rectifier. Please note modification to standard bash plate is required. Adapter cable length has change due to feedback from customers. Longer cables will be supplied with this kit.

This kit includes connectors. The OEM connectors can be removed and replaced with these high quality Furukawa QLW connectors. If you do not have
experience with crimping leads, we recommend to ask a qualified friend or mechanics shop to change the connectors. Changing the rectifier mar effect
vehicle warranty. We have another kit that includes adapted cable for those who do not want to modify their existing wiring.

NOTE: Shunt type rectifier put 100% load on your stator, all the time. Excess power is simply shorted to ground inside the rectifier, hence the heat.
Series type rectifiers put less load on the stator, by turning the output on and off as needed ( sort of like a tap ). Less stress on the stator and
more efficiency conversion from AC to DC means higher reliability & less heat.
